We can often hear people complaining about their lives, saying that the world is going the wrong way, stress, taxes, problems...
But you can also see things differently and think: WHICH BOARD WILL I RIDE TODAY !
SO IS OUR WORLD SO BAD...?
Waking up before sunrise, still half asleep, listening to the wind and the waves breaking in the distance. The wind is getting stronger and is blowing in the palm trees, the clouds are passing by in the sky, the swell is lining up, the wind is side shore, windsurfers and kitesurfers are flying over the océan, surfers are riding the swell. LIFE IS GOOD, and TOMORROW WILL BE EVEN BETTER !

After travelling the world and meeting with people so different one from another, after searching for waves and sailing through calm and stormy oceans, the adventure of RATA and GATA started on the shores of the Caribbean, always inspired by roots riding.

THE LEGEND OF RATA
A man with dreadlocks is walking the streets of Cabarete. An older Dominican is calling «RATA, hey look over here!» Then the old man to say: «Hey RATA, Bob Marley!» He now understands: «OK it  is me the old man is calling by the name of RATA!» Dominicans speak a Spanish with silent «S». The old man said «RATA» when he actually meant «rasta».
